I love Spring. All of the plants and flowers budding and bringing wonderful color to life after the cold and bare winter. So many obvious comparisons, perfectly designed by God, between new plant life and the new lives we have in Christ. I took the camera out and snapped some signs of spring in the yard...
Recently I went to the Botanic Gardens butterfly exhibit with my family and got some really neat pics. I'd never been in their conservatory and was surprised by all of the beautiful tropical plants and flowers. It was a very cool place. When we arrived they had just released some butterflies so there was a flurry of activity and everyone was gathering around to see them fly out of the basket. The gardens had set up hanging plates of fruit for the butterflies to enjoy and they hoovered around those for a while before flying off to explore the plants and flowers.
While we were waiting to get in we walked around the gardens for a bit and took some pictures. It was a beautiful day!
